How Long Does It Take To Renovate in Toronto?

Whole home renovations don't happen overnight. These projects involve many steps with different entities. To get started, you'll work with an architect, then a builder, and subcontractors. Permits must be obtained, materials must be ordered and finally, the work begins.

How long your home renovation takes depends on how quickly you make decisions, what materials need to be ordered, the scope of your project, weather in your area, and any damage that your contractor uncovers during the renovation process. We've mapped out an approximate timeline below:

Design Phase -The design of your home renovation can take from three-six months, but it entirely depends on your choice of architect, their availability, and the complexity of the designs.
