Contemporary Leslieville Home Addition

Interesting shapes, materials, and colours combine for an amazing aesthetic and functional result on this addition to a century home in Leslieville.

A doorless shower was achieved for this client by making the shower 6′ X 3.5′ and utilizing a single rain shower head. This allowed the water to drop straight down on the user rather than spraying out of the shower enclosure like it would have with a wall or slide bar shower head.

The two sided gas fireplace provides a look through from living to dining. We created the horizontal dark base with painted steel while white painted drywall creates the floating monolith above it, a detail that fits beautifully into the kind of cohesive design you often see in well-planned whole-home renovations across Toronto.
