Award-Winning Playter Estates Home Renovation with Open Concept

This client wanted a country feel to their open concept, modern kitchen. The combination of dark stained shaker cabinets, dark quartz counters in a similar colour to the cabinets, and a white porcelain apron front farm style sink achieve this goal nicely.

The new kitchen was relocated to what had been the dining room with a bowed bay window. The whimsical stained glass adds an interesting scene to what would otherwise be the side of the neighbours house 3 metres away.

Ceiling beams separate the dining room from the kitchen and family room in the open concept main floor space. One beam was required to hide a 16 inch deep structural steel beam and the others were added for aesthetics.
